RE: LAMP! Programme Feedback
I write further to my attendance of the 2025 LAMP! Programme and would like to take this opportunity to share my feedback.
The main reason I attended the Programme was to develop my management and leadership skills and am pleased to report that following the completion of the course, these skills have been much improved. The biggest lesson I have learnt from the Programme is my approach to managing people, which is now underwritten by a better understanding of how peoples' personalities impact how they address tasks. This coupled with my improved coaching skills; means I feel my instructions and support to colleagues are more effective and outcome focused.
I really enjoyed the interactive nature of the course, where you encouraged discussion of the course materials with fellow attendees, and asked us to consider how we could have approached past issues at work differently. Similarly, the leadership and management techniques and tools I have learnt have been applicable to my work-life, so each week I benefited from the opportunity to apply them at. My overall highlight of the course was the business improvement project, it provided a real focus and outlet to apply the approaches and tools I have learnt over the course, and has provided my colleagues with an opportunity to see my leadership and management skills in action.
Overall, I would recommend the LAMP! Programme to anyone looking to improve their leadership and management skills.
